Senior UI/UX Designer

Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of designing user-centered, visually appealing, and intuitive digital interfaces for a range of platforms. As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and driving the design direction of our products.

Key Responsibilities

1. UI/UX Design: Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept to final implementation, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience across our digital platforms.
2. User Research: Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions. Translate user needs and behaviors into innovative design solutions.
3. Wireframing and Prototyping: Create detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas and functionality.
4. Visual Design: Develop visually stunning and cohesive designs, including layouts, graphics, and visual elements, while adhering to brand guidelines.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to refine and iterate on designs based on feedback and requirements.
6. Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing to validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement. Incorporate findings into design iterations.
7. Design System: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive design system that ensures consistency and efficiency across our product portfolio.
8. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering their growth and development within the team.
9. Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance our design processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful design projects across various platforms.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Experience with user research methodologies, including user interviews, usability testing, and creating personas.

Nice to Have (but not mandatory)

• Previous experience in a design or related work experience.
• A portfolio showcasing your design projects and thought process.
• Familiarity with prototyping tools and animation principles.
• Knowledge of front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate effective collaboration with developers.
