Role

The Senior Manager of Human Resources and Operations is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing both the HR and operational functions within the organization. This individual will provide strategic direction, planning, and execution to ensure the efficient functioning of HR processes and day-to-day operations. The Senior Manager will collaborate with various departments, manage a team of professionals, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and values. Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent. Manage performance appraisal systems and employee development programs. Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies. Address employee relations issues and facilitate conflict resolution. Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes employee engagement and productivity. Collaborate with leadership to identify and address workforce planning needs.
  2. Streamline and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Manage facilities, procurement, and vendor relationships to support smooth business operations. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency. Analyze operational data and metrics to identify areas for improvement. Lead cross-functional teams to drive process enhancements and operational projects. Monitor and ensure adherence to budget constraints and financial targets. Implement technology solutions to optimize operational workflows.
  3. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR and operations professionals. Collaborate with senior management to align HR and operational strategies with overall business objectives. Build strong relationships with department heads to understand their needs and challenges. Participate in executive discussions and contribute insights for strategic decision-making. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, ensuring transparency and clarity.
  4. Contribute to the development of the organization’s short-term and long-term strategies. Provide input on business expansion, diversification, and new initiatives. Identify opportunities for organizational growth and operational excellence. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to bring innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in HR and operations management, with a track record of progressive leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and operational processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for decision-making.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and operational software tools.
