Project Manager

Role

A project manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the execution of a specific project or multiple projects within an organization. Their role involves coordinating and managing resources, budgets, timelines, and teams to ensure the successful completion of the project’s objectives. The role may require occasional travel to meet with clients, stakeholders, or team members.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop a detailed project plan outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and budgets.
2. Resource Management: Allocate resources, both human and material, to tasks and activities. Monitor and manage resource availability and allocation throughout the project.
3. Timeline Management: Develop and maintain a project schedule, tracking progress and adjusting timelines as needed.
4. Closure and Evaluation: Ensure a smooth project closure, including final deliverable acceptance and documentation.
5. Documentation: Assist in maintaining technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
6. Continuous Learning: Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to continuously upgrade your skills and stay updated with the latest technologies.
7. Feedback & Improvement: Actively participate in team meetings, code reviews embracing feedback and using it as a tool for personal and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, IT) or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience(5+years) as a Project Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have (but not mandatory)

• Certification in project management Project Management Professional(PMP) or Certified Scrum Master(CSM)is a plus.
• Projects or portfolio that demonstrate your coding skills.
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, XP, Kanban etc. The capacity to adapt to changes, unforeseen circumstances, and evolving project requirements.
• Hands On Programming Ability on any Framework/Language is a plus..
