Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients and driving the expansion of our business. Candidate will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and contributing to the overall success of the company

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify and Research Opportunities: Conduct market research to identify potential target markets, industries, and clients. Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to develop strategic business development plans.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and prospects. Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions to address their challenges. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and guidance to meet their business objectives.
  3. New Business Acquisition: Identify and approach potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and online platforms. Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to showcase our products/services and value proposition. Lead negotiations, contract discussions and closing of deals.
  4. Strategic Partnerships: Identify and establish partnerships with other businesses or organizations that can complement our offerings. Collaborate with partners to create joint value propositions and expand our market reach.
  5. Sales Performance and Reporting: Set and Achieve sales targets and revenue goals in alignment with company objectives. Regularly track, analyze, and report on sales metrics, pipeline development, and market trends. Provide accurate sales forecasts to management.
  6. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies. Share insights and feedback from the market to inform product/service enhancements.
  7. Industry Knowledge and Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. Continuously improve personal and professional skills through training, workshops, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience.
  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles, preferably in a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to Have (but not mandatory)

  • Having  fluency in one or more foreign languages.
  • Having technical skills relevant to the product or service being offered can be beneficial. This might include proficiency in certain software, programming languages or technical concepts.
  • Having prior leadership experience .
  • understanding digital marketing strategies
