Role
The HR & Operations Executive plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and smooth functioning of both human resources and operational processes within the organization. This role involves a combination of HR responsibilities, such as recruitment, employee relations, and performance management, as well as operational duties, including office management, vendor coordination, and process improvement. The HR & Operations Executive collaborates closely with various departments to maintain a productive and harmonious work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Source and attract qualified candidates through various channels. Conduct interviews, assess applicants, and make hiring recommendations. Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.
- Employee Relations: Address employee inquiries, concerns, and conflicts in a timely and professional manner. Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture. Assist in the resolution of employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Performance Management: Assist in the performance appraisal process, including setting objectives and conducting reviews. Monitor and track employee performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions for employees. Assist in the creation and implementation of professional development programs.
- Office Management: Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and conducive work environment. Manage office supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships.
- Facilities Coordination: Coordinate office maintenance and repairs, ensuring facilities are functional and safe. Liaise with property management for lease agreements and facility-related matters.
- Vendor Management: Source, negotiate with, and manage external vendors, such as catering, janitorial services, etc. Ensure vendor compliance with contracts and service level agreements
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve operational processes for efficiency. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance overall organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in both HR and operations roles, preferably 1+ years.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and operational best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
