Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead our business expansion efforts. This role is crucial in driving growth, building strategic partnerships and enhancing our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategy Development: Formulate and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth, identify new market opportunities and achieve organizational goals.
  2. Partnership Building: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to create business opportunities and collaborations.
  3. Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitor analysis and customer needs, using insights to refine our offerings.
  4. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of business development professionals, setting clear goals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of excellence.
  5. Proposal Creation: Oversee the preparation of compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches that demonstrate the value of our products/services to potential clients.
  6. Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations and finalize contracts, ensuring favorable terms and mutually beneficial agreements.
  7. Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on business development metrics, analyze results and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  8. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • Having 10+ Years of experience.
  • Proven track record of successful business development, preferably in the technology or related industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships and presenting to clients.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify new opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
  • Results-driven mindset, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Experience with contract negotiation and a strong understanding of legal and financial aspects of business deals.
  • Analytical skills to interpret market data and make informed decisions.

Nice to Have (but not mandatory)

  • Previous experience in a senior business development or leadership role.
  • Established network within the industry and existing relationships with potential clients.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Experience in team expansion.
